Directory & General Terms

Dorset List is provided as a premium directory service exclusively for businesses based in, or serving the Dorset area. To qualify for a listing, your business must serve the Dorset area, (although not exclusively).

It is currently FREE to submit your business to the Dorset List. Upon successful acceptance, you will have the option to upgrade to a premium listing to provide your business and website with greater exposure on our directory and online. We will never call you to promote or ask you to upgrade to a Premium Listing or for any other reason in connection with your listing.

Note where specified; the term “Unlimited” refers to the operational lifespan of this website. No minimum or maximum period is guaranteed.

Listing content must not infringe any copyright or include any insulting and expletive language. Links should not promote anything illegal or encouraging hate, violence or content that could be considered disrespectful or misleading.

Any listings that are reported or found as not complying with the above requirements will be subject to removal without notice and no fees shall be refunded.

Dorset List do not accept any liability for information contained within its listings, reviews or websites linked to. Further more, Dorset List does not check all listing events, announcements and coupons posted by its members. Should you find any information that you consider to be inaccurate or not comply with our expected standards, we politely encourage you to report it to us by using the link to do so on the applicable listing or by contacting us via the contact page.

Dorset Listing Premium Listings

If you opt to take advantage of a Premium Listing, your credit or debit card will be charged at the advertised rate monthly, starting when you first submit your payment details. Please allow 5 working days for your listing to be upgraded, and any subsequent updates from receipt of your Premium Listing Form. You may cancel your Premium Listing at any time by emailing , allowing 5 working days for your request to be processed. No refunds are issued for any unspent days of a pre-paid period. Premium Listings may be refused or deleted if found not to comply with our listing policy.

Enquires made via this website by email and any such data included within your message or business submission will be stored digitally, and when applicable, displayed publicly until such time as deleted, or you request us to do so.

Mailing List & Emails

Your email address will be added to our mailing list upon submission so we can keep you updated on important information relating to your listing and the service we offer. If you no longer wish to receive such emails, please click on the ‘unsubscribe’ link in the email you receive. You will still receive enquiries relating to your listing, billing and other critical messages as and when applicable.

How we use your data

We will use the data you provide to enable us to supply the intended service and/or reply to your enquiry and update you with any future issues that may effect the service we provided you with. We will never knowingly share your data with any party.

We may use social media websites to promote our services to those to customers who use social media and choose to follow us or in accordance with applicable advertising policies.
